Crafting a Distinct Digital Presence for Antenna Gin
Antenna Gin, a bespoke gin brand based in Crystal Palace, was my second project for the Craft & Courage team. Having already designed their craft beer pub’s website, this collaboration benefited from a shared understanding of their goals and style preferences, making the process smoother from the outset.
A Platform with Dual Purpose
Antenna Gin required a website that was both a customer-facing ecommerce store and a brochure-style platform to attract new stockists. This dual focus shaped the site’s design and functionality, blending sleek product showcases with informative content about the brand’s origins, offerings, and versatility.
Additionally, we introduced a Recipes section—a blog-style element showcasing creative ways to enjoy their gin, from cocktails to culinary pairings. This extra layer of content helped elevate the site’s value for visitors, making it more than just a place to shop.
Streamlined Ecommerce with WooCommerce
This project, built on WordPress with Elementor, involved creating a WooCommerce store to showcase Antenna Gin’s product line.
I ensured the store was intuitive for customers to browse and purchase from, while also incorporating sections aimed at potential stockists, including downloadable resources and detailed product descriptions. The site required age verifcation as it sold alcoholic products.
The End Result
The final site, antennagin.co.uk, reflects Antenna Gin’s unique personality—elevated yet approachable. It successfully balances the needs of direct customers with the brand’s ambition to attract stockists, delivering a polished and versatile digital presence.
What I Learned
This project reinforced the importance of adaptability and forward planning. By using the downtime to refine the site’s functionality, I ensured the final stages of the project were smooth and efficient. Collaborating with the Craft & Courage team again was a rewarding experience, and seeing their vision come to life with a cohesive, professional website was incredibly satisfying. It is always a pleasre to support local products and businesses.
